Issue Position: Legalization of Marijuana

Issue Position

The legalization of marijuana in the State of Florida is going to be one of the hottest topics of the political debates. As a conservative Republican candidate, I do not believe that 60% of Floridians will vote in favor of such a controversial measure. Marijuana has caused so many of our youngsters to lose their minds and end up being admitted into drug rehab facilities or in prison. Will such legislation have control over the growth and consumption of the plants? I highly doubt that legislation will cause the plant to be used for medicinal purposes, as the legislation contends.
